Life is a gift and we are lucky to have the freedom of choice. There are certain consequences in every choice that we make and I believe there are three main choices that are constant. The choice to be lazy, the choice to be mediocre and the choice to be exceptional.
One who chooses to be lazy is the most destructive. The lazyman is negative and his/her life, dwelling and surroundings are the most depressing. The lazyman always seems to have a black cloud that follows them and they claim "I can't get a break". They choose to keep doing the same thing over and over again and won't do anything to help themselves. It's everyone else's fault mentality.
The one who chooses mediocrity is simply living a life with the middle of the road attitude. To the middle man, everything is ok, living like every one else and never wanting anything more. It is what it is.
One who chooses to be exceptional, simply is one who does more than expected, lives a life of honesty and integrity and has the mentality of giving without expecting anything back. If there is a problem, this person will find a solution. The one who chooses to be exceptional will reap an abundance of rewards by default. They understand that it's their responsibility and up to them to get things done.
I believe that what you give in your life is exactly what you get back.
